Stone Wind and Solar
now offer the
refurbished Micon 108 Wind Turbine (Available in 50hz & 60hz with certs)
The Micon 108 has been designed to be used on islands in areas exposed to fierce wind-speeds. The construction has been developed for use in wind farms as a coop-windmill for a group of family dwellings, for industrial use, or in agricutural applications.
The rotor is a well-constructed, strong, efficient and especially quiet unit. All the components in the wind turbine have been selected with the aim of ensuring a long design life. Further the supporting elements in the wind turbine structure have been hot-dip-galvanised. Bearings, gears and generator are life-time lubricated and make the turbine virtually maintenance-free.
All fuctions are controlled by means of a thoroughly tested micro-processor. Micon control panels have been designed to be linked up via the phone system to a computer management system, recording the performance of the wind turbines and further allows remote operation of the machines.
